One of the things that takes up the most time in a blogger’s life is networking. I’m always on the hunt for brands to work with, gals to collaborate with, and people with similar fashion taste. In my most recent search, I discovered a brand filled with the things I love: girlyness and originality. Allow me to introduce you to Sugar Coma, “Candy-coated Apparel for Dolls of ALL Sizes.” Founded by fashion designer Sarah Judy in 2012, SC hand-makes their garments with pastel palettes and lots of cute vibes. You’ll find baby blue shorts, silver dresses, and big bows! In addition to their kawaii aesthetics, Sugar Coma also carries sizes XS-XXXL, plus custom sizing upon request. Major points in my book! After I fell in love with their designs, I contacted Sarah and we decided to collaborate. Click below to see the lookbook! (more…)
When I was browsing through some of my favorite online shops, thispink pleated maxi caught my eye. It’s got my two favorite vibes: pink and girly. While at the same time its simple, and goes along great with the rest of my wardrobe. Pleated skirts are great because of their minimalism and versatility. Every gal’s got to have one, and I’m glad I found the one that’s right for me.
Its official, the cutest places to eat at: Hello Kitty Cafe: A Sanrio paradise filled with cookies, cakes, and tea. Honey & Butter. A macaron haven with Disney Tsum Tsums and an exciting atmosphere.
Because these spots are perfect for Japanese and Kawaii lovers, I had to check them out. Best yet, they’re both located right inside the Irvine Spectrum mall. Talk about convenient! Lets take a look at the sugary adventure I had over the weekend. There’s lots of sweets, pastels, frills, and fun to be seen. (more…)
My favorite color scheme is black and white, with a little bit of pastel pink thrown in. Black/white is a mature palette and I love brightening it up a little. Hence why I decided I needed a new dress to play around with. This bow dress was exactly what I was looking for. Take a look at my review of Make Me Chic. (more…)
Recently, I went to Little Tokyo for some photoshoots. Little Tokyo is hub of Japanese culture right in the heart of Los Angeles. You’ll find J-fashion boutiques, kawaii knickknacks, and all kinds of delicious cuisine. Most importantly, it was the perfect place to model this Sakura bodycon dress from Shein! (more…)
Yesterday I spent most of my time walking around the beach playing my favorite game, Pokemon Go. (In short, a cellphone app that uses your GPS to catch Pokemon and requires a lot of walking.) Not surprisingly, I walked 3.5 miles! Thank goodness for Sheinside and their lace romper, it kept me cool and comfortable. (more…)
Over the weekend, I attended High Voltage Magazine’s “Photography in the Park” event. Essentially, it’s an event for models and photographers to network. A great time to build up portfolios. And, it was the perfect place to get photos of my Dollskill Lovin’ Croptop and Jezebel Robe. (more…)
Summer’s finally here, and sheer is in. Especially the sheer maxi skirt. Why? For starters, they’re young and girly, but still have a touch of glamour. Personally I love sheer items because of how light and airy they feel. I can still wear black in the blistering LA heat! I talked about sheer items briefly in my other article about lingerie and street-fashion here. (more…)
For me, one of the most important factors in deciding to make a purchase is versatility. When your fashion interests are as broad as mine, its mandatory. One day I might be wearing some crazy Japanese fashion in Little Tokyo, like Larme or Lolita (pictured above), and the next day I’ll be in Newport Beach window shopping. Thanks to Devilinspired, I’ve found the perfect dress, Hana’s Fantasy Constellation dress. (more…)
