….is a phrase I feel on a spiritual level! People who think cosmetics are fake, or a waste a time have the wrong idea. Makeup is so much more than that. It can be a form of artistic expression, a means to highlight what you love about yourself, or a way to make a bold statement. For me, I’ve always been fond of my big eyes. My whole life they’ve been the #1 thing most people remark upon when first meeting me. As a result, I’ve fallen in love with falsies. They make me feel dolled up, confident, and like I could take on the whole world. Seriously I’ve never had bad day when I was wearing lashes 😉 Allow me to introduce you to ESQIDO Mink Lashes who sent me my most favorite pair of falsies + eyelash glue to date. (more…)

Review of Christian Dior’s Blooming Bouquet & Versace’s Bright Crystal Perfume
Happy Friday lovelies! It’s almost Easter and Spring has finally arrived. The flowers are blooming, the sun is finally shining, and it’s the perfect time to start net things. To shake things up a bit around here, I’m going to be doing a few more non-fashion reviews. To kick off the new season/new year, I’ve been expanding my horizons from the apparel industry to that of cosmetics. I’ve done so much research on perfumes, makeup brands, women’s skincare, and just about anything I can think of. Its time for me to not just focus solely on the world of clothing, but the magic of the beauty realm as well. I use shoes and fancy dresses to express myself, and I’m discovering how to do the same with lipsticks, nail art, blushes, etc.
So you could definitely imagine my how perfect the timing was when Fragrancenet.comreached out to me asking if I’d be interested in a collaboration. Not just because of my new-found love of perfumes and cosmetics, but also because they’re one of the largest (and one the first) online-retailers of authenticated luxury brand fragrances, gift sets, and aromatherapy. They’ve been in business since 1997, two entire decades now. Heck even my mom has purchased from their site before! Besides their extensive history, they’ve got a wonderfully optimized webpage and carry products of the highest caliber. Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Thierry Mugler, Burberry, nearly every big-name brand you can think of. The products I chose to review is the Christian Dior’sBlooming Bouquet perfume, and Versace’sBright Crystalgift set. And oh boy do I have a lot to say about these scents! (more…)
As someone who’s always been fortunate enough to have long locks and a full head of hair, I never imagined myself using hair extensions (excluding my usual clip-in bangs.) I assumed it was only for gals who couldn’t grow long hair or had damaged hair, and so I never paid them any attention. I’ve always been complimented on my hair and its one of the first things people notice about me. Like many girls, my hairstyle is big part of my identity and how I view myself. However because of how used to I am to my hair, I find myself becoming bored with it often. I can never decide if I want bangs or not, if I like straight or curls better, if I should change the color, etc. Over the years I’ve purchased at least 12 wigs, a multitude of styling products, and studied countless tutorials.
When Irresistible Me contacted me asking if I’d like to try their Silky Touchextensions, I was very intrigued. After quite a bit of research, I found there were many girls just like me who were completely fine with their natural hair, but loved extensions because it for a variety of reasons. It gave them more volume, more styling choices, and most importantly, more hair to have fun with. If you saw Part 1 of my review, you’ll know I was very impressed at the professionalism of Irresistible Me and the quality of their products. Here in Part 2, we’ll take a look at the extensions in-use and all the benefits of them.
One of the biggest misconceptions I had about hair extensions was that they were only for girls with short hair. My hair is very long, so I never thought I would need them. However because my hair is so long and heavy, its hard to get a good amount of volume to it. Sure, with a lot of styling/curling I can get some amount of volume but it just isn’t the over-the-top look that I’m searching for. It never occurred to me until recently that extensions could give me a fuller, healthy look to my hair without any heat needed! Here’s Part 1 of my review of Irresistible Me hair extensions.
